What Inspires You?

Stuck in a creative dead zone? Feeling like blaah? Happens to the best of us, it's part of life. We all need a touch of inspiration to reignite the fire in our souls, to break the monotony of life’s autopilot and lose ourselves in the moments of possibility for a while. It's easy to get caught up in the weirdness of it all, times that feel like they are robing us of feeling connected to our personal inspirations, those that give us the zest for life. I took affirmative action and wrote down a few things that I enjoy, that make me feel good, things that inspire me in the hopes it might inspire you too.

1. Possibility That’s right. It’s not your “average” source of inspiration, but it makes a massive difference for me. The fact that something can go right has always been my main source of inspiration, just that fact that I believe that something good will happen. Just the fact that I expect great things, allows me to let go of fear and to have unwavering faith.

The idea that something; even the most outrageous things I can dream about are possible, is such an inspiration. 2. Creativity Anything and everything I can make or at least try to create is inspirational. It could be something I looked at online or a magazine, and I get inspired to either try to make it myself or find way to achieve it.

3. Music Music is a big one, and it may be a big one for you too. As it is with many people. I've mentioned this before but listening and enjoying music has been a part of my entire life. I have been singing and dancing even before I could walk and talk, and music as I'm sure you know, has this mystical power to it; being part of your soul. Music speaks to people in unique ways and it’s that uniqueness that tends to keep me inspired. 4. Observing

Seeing others do what they love, talking to them and enjoying it through their eyes inspires me. Even if what they are doing isn't necessary something I want to do, just being in their presence and observing what they have to share, is something I have always loved. I love hearing others life stories, the journey they took to get to where they are now and where they want to go next. I truly love seeing others do well, that inspires me.

5. Helping others

This is fuel for my soul. I love helping others. I love reminding people how great they are, the good they've done and all the wonderful things that can be. I feel so inspired when I am able to help others see themselves in the best light, flaws and all. To remind them of their potential and their worth. I love telling them that their dreams matter and that we all deserve everything we dare to dream about.

Where do you find your inspiration from? I know your list will be totally different than mine but let me know, I'd love to hear from you.
