Pee After Sex

I'm still learning and obviously don't have all the answers but I do want to share some odd advice I've never been given, things I've read about and tips I have found that might benefit you as well. Some of these are actually amazing and some you can take with a grain of salt.

Anyhoosies let's dive right in and start this show.

Crazy sounding hacks and tips that actually work

Bread for Collecting Glass Shards

Remember the last time you dropped a glass and it shattered? It’s a challenge to wipe up all the tiny glass shards without accidentally stepping on them or getting glass embedded in your skin. Next time, grab a slice of bread. The spongy surface easily lifts tiny glass particles, which even a broom, mop, or vacuum can miss.

Linen Care and Folding Tips

Never fold towels and sheets immediately when they come out of dryer or off the line. Let them dry and cool off first. Any moisture can make the towels a bit mildewed.

Dry in Between Your Toes After You Shower

Many people tend to neglect drying the areas between and under toes after bathing. Fungi like warm, dark places, which is why it’s important to dry between and under toes.

Your feet dry quickly - it’s between and under toes that act as a reservoir for moisture and fungus.

Pee After Sex

It isn’t necessary, per se, but it is helpful. It helps reduce the chances of getting a urinary tract infection, especially if you have a vagina.

Get Rid Of Those Weeds

If you have weeds to pull around your yard, water them a few minutes before pulling. It loosens the soil around the roots and allows you to more easily pull the whole weed.

Stick A Potato In It

A peeled potato is the perfect vehicle to absorb excess salt. Just throw it into the pot and simmer it for awhile, remove it after it's absorbed some of the salt, and you're left with less-salty soup. No need to add more liquid or other ingredients to help disperse the extra salt.

Easy Scroll

Hitting the Spacebar scrolls down a web page; hitting the Spacebar + Shift lets you scroll back up.

Stinky Tupperware

For that smelly plastic container or refrigerator drawer, toss in a sheet of newspaper overnight. The paper will absorb the smell greatly reducing it or eliminating it completely.

Eat Slower

People who take time to chew slowly have better digestion and feel fuller, faster.

Make Your Candles Last Longer

The longer the wick the quicker your candle will burn, so trimming it will make it last longer. It also prevents black smoke from occurring and ensures the glass isn't over-heating. Trim it every time you use your candle and make sure it isn't longer than a couple millimeters.

Find Small Lost Items

Use your vacuum cleaner to find tiny items you've lost, such as earrings. Just cover the end of a vacuum cleaner with a stocking or pantyhose and secure it with an elastic, and start your search. Check from time to time to see if the object you are looking for is already there.

Unclog Drains Easily

Run hot water down the drain for a minute, and then sprinkle 1 cup of baking soda down the drain. Slowly pour 1 cup of vinegar down the drain. Flush one more time with hot or boiling water. (Baking soda and vinegar is also a great combination for cleaning i.e. in the bathroom)

I hope you found a few new tricks to add to your collection and please share some of your own tips in the comments below or on Instagram to spread the knowledge.

And remember Family is anyone who loves you unconditionally, sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart and temptation lies in the imagination.

PS. Did you know that you can put all those plastic bags underneath your sink in a Kleenex box and pull them out like a Kleenex? Well, now you know, and you don't have to deal with the overflowing amount of plastic bags all over the place.
