But what is the definition of ‘New Beginnings’, because for every individual new beginnings carry a different meaning, a different purpose and a different belief.
Generally, new beginnings give light to overcoming bad habits, achieving goals, getting rid of toxic elements, adopting a healthy lifestyle, or maybe planning a fresh start.

And just like for every sunset is the start of a new sunrise.
Sometimes we can’t wait for things to end; sometimes we wish they would never end. Sometimes we bring about endings ourselves, and sometimes the endings are out of our control. But endings, although sometimes painful, are inevitable.
Endings may also arise as the result of an urgency to tackle the road we have been ignoring for so long and that we can no longer postpone. Sometimes even traumatic events are the opportunity we need and require for, finally changing course.
This has nothing to do with giving up and everything to do with starting something new that actually benefits you; the right direction for you.
Appreciation. Start every new beginning with appreciation; the lessons the old and the now ending has provided. Think of the strength and wisdom it has given you. It is a testimony of how resilient you are; and that is something you can be grateful of; appreciate your past.
A word of strength: Strength isn’t about bearing a cross, slugging that thing around as if it were a badge you had to wear. Strength is about choosing your path, living with joy and creating whatever it is that you want regardless of the things in your past.
Leave the cross, let go of whatever it is that you are carrying and answer these questions - how do you want to feel; every day? What do you need to do for yourself to achieve that feeling?
Have you been waiting for the "right time"? Things to calm down, things to "go back to normal", or maybe some other ridiculous reason that doesn't really exist.
Taking a chance is out there waiting for you to reach out and grab it. And yes, making a big life change or trying something new can be scary. But do you know what’s even scarier? Staying the same, in the illusion of comfort that is slowly eating you alive, dimming your light while controlling you into thinking - this is it.
Change is like breath – it isn’t part of the process, it is the process. In reality and in life in general, the only thing we can count on is change. And just like breathing, endings and beginnings are intertwined with each in-breath and out-breath.
You inhale and exhale. Or do you exhale then inhale? Which is the ending? And which is the beginning?
That’s the thing: our beginnings and endings run together. We are continually in transition, moving from one thing to the next.
Stepping into the unknow has its challenges for sure. And not all changes are immediately positive. Ups and downs are a part of life.
You might not have a clue who you are becoming, or who you want to be, how things will turn out and what’s next. The truth is - no one knows.
The important thing is that as you step toward change and prepare for the positive; expect it. Prepare for the new. Place your trust in the magic of new beginnings.
Things happen for you not to you.
Every day is a fresh start. You don't have to wait for Monday, the new year, nor any other specific day because a random Wednesday at 3 pm. can be the day you allow something old to end and something new to begin. How are you going to use your new opportunity?
